The Shoulder Strap was born in the South Bronx in the late 1960's in the busiest company at the time, Ladder Co. 31 (10,000 runs).The strap allowed the CAN to be carried by the shoulder when climbing the six story buildings found in that district of the Bronx.Constructed of high tensile nylon with adjustable buckles. The unit attaches easily to the CAN with the hardware supplied.
